The Wakefield Community Club and local businesses are working together to bring their business promotion, “A HOLLY JOLLY CHRISTMAS" to the community.  The promotion will kick off on Black Friday, November 24 and run through Sunday, December 17, and features three weeks of prizes and  drawings for holiday shoppers who visit participating local businesses.

Customers who shop locally will earn stamps for their purchases, in increments of $5 and $10, throughout the promotion.  For every $100 spent, shoppers can be entered into weekly drawings for a chance to earn back a portion of their purchases in Wakefield Dollars. Promotion cards will be available at all participating businesses.  The weekly drawings will consist of the following: FOUR (4) $50.00 winners drawn on December 4, FOUR (4) $50.00 winners drawn on December 11, and FOUR (4) $100.00 winners drawn on December 18.

A HOLLY JOLLY CHRISTMAS promotion also includes special incentives for shoppers during the kick-off weekend. Any purchases that holiday shoppers make on Black Friday, November 24, will earn them double stamps, giving them the opportunity to fill their promotion card twice as fast.  On small business Saturday, November 26, shoppers may find themselves the lucky recipient of $25 Wakefield Dollars if they purchase a “mystery item” at a participating business.  There will be eight mystery items that could make an unsuspecting shopper lucky!
