Our annual WAKFEST celebration is a full day of fun for the whole family!   

 

WAKEFEST kicks off in the morning with a good old-fashioned home-town parade, followed by a street festival that includes wonderful vendors, a Car Show, cornhole tournament, and fantastic kids activities, and wraps up in the evening with an amazing WINGS Cook-Off and live bands that will keep you rocking all night long. It all takes place on Main Street in downtown Wakefield! 

 

While you stroll through the classic car show and enjoy everything our craft and food vendors have to offer, the kids can play the day away.  Kids Activities will feature bouncy houses, an indoor Laser Tag arena, a virtual reality gaming truck, the Pedal Pull Tournament, and a variety of other fun games. The enticing aroma of our WINGS Cookers hard work will fill the air as you try your luck in the cornhole tournament and enjoy our local establishment's beer gardens.  Finally, you will be able to dance the night away with a line-up of exciting bands and performers, including an amazing headliner.

The WAKEFEST event is a joint venture between the Community Club of Wakefield and Wakefield Youth and Rec.  Funds raised go to support local events for both organizations.
