Our annual WakeFest celebration is a full day of fun for the whole family! Join us on Saturday, August 15, as we celebrate summer, community, and America's 250th Birthday with an exciting day of activities at Graves Park in Wakefield, Nebraska.

The day kicks off with a complimentary made-to-order omelet breakfast sponsored by Michael Foods, followed by the colorful 1K/5K Color Run & Walk. Then find your spot as our classic hometown parade makes its way through Wakefield and winds through Graves Park, bringing the community together to officially kick off the festivities.

After the parade, spend the day enjoying everything WakeFest has to offer. Browse the classic car show, visit local vendors, and let the kids burn off energy with giant inflatables, a virtual reality gaming truck, and plenty of other family-friendly activities. Need to cool off? Admission to the Wakefield Swimming Pool is FREE during WakeFest, making it the perfect stop on a warm August afternoon.

When it's time to eat, enjoy a delicious BBQ meal featuring slow-smoked pulled pork and a variety of flavorful chicken wings. Then settle in, relax with friends and family, and enjoy live music as the celebration continues into the evening.
